Frequently Asked Questions

  • I can't access Paypal with my card. Are there other payment methods?
    In case you are unable to make a transfer via Paypal, please write to us at estelab@sf-peru.com so we can provide you with alternatives. Please note that we have alternatives at no additional cost only for Peru and Colombia.
  • Why do I have to pay the registration fee?
    The payment amount allows us to support the process of reading the received projects for an ideal selection. This symbolic amount is part of your development budget and the professionalization of your film's production scheme.
  • Will I be given an invoice?
    Yes, you can request an invoice (only for legal entities) by emailing estelab@sf-peru.com, sending your company's tax information (ID, tax name and address). Invoices will be delivered up to 5 business days after the request.
  • Do I need to have the script finished at the time of application?
    No, we only ask for a treatment with a minimum length of 3 pages and a maximum of 10. The script is not necessary at any stage of the application.
  • How do I add a new question & answer?
    To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Click “Manage FAQs” button 2. From your site's dashboard you can add, edit and manage all your questions and answers 3. Each question and answer should be added to a category 4. Save and publish.
  • I am a producer (a/e), can I submit more than one project?
    Yes, but if selected, only one project from the same producer will be selected. Producers with more than one project must complete a registration form (paying 20USD and filling out the form) for each project submitted.
  • I am the director and producer of my project. Can I apply?
    The lab focuses on strengthening the director/producer bond. Only projects that have different people in these roles will be eligible.
  • I can't find an answer to my question
    Don't worry, write to us at estelab@sf-peru.com and we will answer all your questions. For emergencies, write to us at WhatsApp +51989855214.
  • Does the lab include my travel expenses?
    No, the lab does not include transportation or accommodation costs. It only covers lunch.
  • I can't attend the lab in person, can I participate online?
    Yes, you can attend the entire lab virtually. However, the payment is the same as for in-person attendance.
